Overview

Although you may like tea, coffee, berries, tomatoes, or tobacco, these are some of the biggest sources of enamel discoloration and stains. This is why SEDA Dental offers an effective solution if you are looking to enhance your teeth with Zoom whitening procedures in South Florida. As a popular choice for professional teeth whitening, we are proud to perform both Zoom WhiteSpeed and QuickPro. Depending on your cosmetic goals, available time, and budget, we can help you choose the Zoom whitening treatment that is ideal for you.

Best Candidates

Your Zoom whitening procedure at SEDA Dental will be chosen and personalized to deliver your best results. For quick results, QuickPro is best on surface stains caused by foods, drinks, and tobacco products. WhiteSpeed also treats surface enamel stains, but it can also address discoloration caused by aging and some medications. At your consultation, our experienced dentists will examine the condition of your teeth and help you decide which treatment is best for your goals and needs. You may also consider home whitening kits: Zoom DayWhite or NiteWhite. The Zoom home treatment may be performed either alone or following your in-office Zoom treatment to enhance and refresh your outcomes.

What To Expect

If you want WhiteSpeed or QuickPro, you can plan your treatment so it follows your cleaning at SEDA Dental. This will eliminate tartar and plaque so the whitening treatment can be evenly applied to your teeth. Once your teeth are clean and dry, your mouth and gums will be covered before the process starts. For QuickPro, each tooth is painted with whitening varnish and then covered with a sealant for protection. Once every tooth has been treated, you will be allowed to leave. After about 30 minutes, you can brush your teeth to remove the varnish.

For WhiteSpeed, a layer of whitening gel will be painted on each tooth. Once the teeth are coated, a light will activate the stain removal treatment. These steps will be repeated three times for a total treatment time of around 45 minutes. Any excess gel will be cleaned off of your enamel before a final gel is used to reduce sensitivity and fortify your teeth.

Follow-Up

A member of our team can give you post-treatment instructions on how to take care of your teeth following whichever Zoom treatment you have. The best way to maintain your results is to establish a good home oral care routine with daily flossing, brushing, and mouthwash rinsing. Professional cleanings at SEDA Dental can also help to polish your teeth and keep your mouth clean. You should also avoid staining foods, beverages, and tobacco products if you would like your smile to stay white. You may refresh your results with Zoom home whitening treatments or schedule another in-office treatment if needed.

Insurance Coverage

Zoom teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure so it is usually not covered by your dental insurance. At your consultation, we can go over your choices and help you select the treatment that matches your whitening goals and budget. We can also explain payment methods and low-interest medical financing to make your treatment affordable.
