Summary of Essential Job Functions
At SEDA Dental, our Office Managers play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of our dental offices. As the primary liaison between our staff and corporate operations, our Managers are responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching our dental team to reach their full potential. Their goal is to maintain a customer service-oriented and productive work environment, ensuring that every team member performs at their highest level. Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of RECENT Dental Management experience REQUIRED
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA Compliance Standards REQUIRED
- Direct line Management experience, including project, people, customer, financial management preferred
- Hands-on experience with computerized dental software REQUIRED
- Knowledge of and proficiency in finance, human resource management, and principles of business PREFERRED

Their responsibilities encompass the gathering, preservation, and examination of data that our dentists and dental assistants rely on for patient treatment.
Under the guidance of the doctor, this role aims to guarantee outstanding non-clinical support services, enabling the doctor to concentrate on providing top-notch patient care.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Total accountability for financial management of patient care
- Prepare a daily financial action plan by reviewing the patients for the next day and determining their financial needs and status. Check patient chart records for any incomplete treatment.
- Research insurance eligibility, benefits, and limitations, and verify chart has complete insurance information
- Prepare estimates on treatment diagnosed prior to discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements. Prepare and submit pre-authorizations for patient treatment only when necessary.
- Present the treatment plan using models, diagrams, and provided related literature. Go over treatment to date with the patient and assess any incomplete treatment.
- Make financial arrangements on all patients according to the Financial Policy of the office. Ensure that all patients have a full understanding of the Financial Policy and have made a choice as to how payment will be made. Document the payment option selected by the patient. Educate the patient to their responsibility regarding insurance.
- Process insurance claims daily and mail or submit electronically within 24 hours
- Assist in the process of patient problem solving with schedule coordinator
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of RECENT Dental Insurance Specialist experience REQUIRED
- 1 year of financial coordinator experience REQUIRED
Education Requirements

They are also responsible for sterilizing instruments, developing x-rays, charting, and mixing compounds for cleaning or filling teeth, among other clinical tasks.

- Greet and seat patients. Take X-rays, if necessary.
- Evaluate gingival health and health of all oral tissue
- Perform an oral cancer exam. Take blood pressure.
- Administer nitrous oxide and oxygen. Classify the patient’s periodontal condition.
- Scale, polish, and apply fluoride. Periodontal soft tissue curettage. Root planing. Perio probe and chart.
- Polish and contour restorations. Take impressions for diagnostic and opposing models.

Patient Requirements
- Explain the disease process and the role of bacteria caries in periodontal health
- Provide appropriate educational literature
