This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit https://floridateeth.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The Site is owned and operated by KRAW Dental, LLC, doing business as SEDA Dental (“SEDA Dental,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), with dental offices in Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Jupiter, and Pompano Beach, Florida.

This policy covers the Site only. It works together with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Website Information vs. Patient Health Information

There is an important difference between information collected through this website and the health information we hold about you as a patient.

Your medical and dental records, treatment history, insurance details, and other protected health information are covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at our offices. That notice, not this policy, governs how we handle your patient records.

This Privacy Policy covers the more limited information collected when you browse the Site, fill out a form, or request an appointment online. Please do not submit detailed health information through the Site’s public forms.

2. Information You Give Us

You can browse the Site without telling us who you are. We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it, for example when you:

• Fill out a contact or appointment-request form (typically your first and last name, email address, phone number, preferred office, and a message);
• Request an appointment through our online scheduling tool;
• Call, email, or text us using the contact information on the Site;
• Apply for a position through our Careers page;
• Leave a review or otherwise correspond with us.

Form submissions are stored securely on the Site and delivered to our patient-care team by email so we can follow up with you.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click, the website that referred you, and general location (city or region) based on your IP address.

We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. Our Cookie Policy explains what we use and how to control it. The main tools we use are:

• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve it;
• Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, so we can measure our advertising and show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site;
• Google reCAPTCHA on our forms to block spam and automated abuse;
• Review widgets that display public Google reviews on the Site;
• Server logs maintained by our hosting provider for security and performance.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your questions and appointment requests and connect you with the right office;
• Contact you by phone, email, or text message about your request, appointment, or related services;
• Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site;

• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, our patients, and the public.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or lease our contact lists to anyone.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only in these situations:

• Our offices and staff. Your request is shared with the SEDA Dental office you selected so they can help you.
• Service providers. Companies that help us run the Site and our business, such as our website host, online scheduling provider (currently Dental Intelligence), email and communication tools, analytics and advertising platforms, and IT and marketing support. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of SEDA Dental, our patients, or the public.
• Business changes. If SEDA Dental is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Some of the tools listed in Section 3, such as Google Analytics and Google Ads, collect information directly under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Text Messages, Email, and Phone Calls

When you give us your phone number or email address, we may use it to contact you about your request, appointment reminders, and related services. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We will never share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Our text messaging program is described in Section 7 (SMS / Text Messaging Program), which controls for text messages.

7. SMS / Text Messaging Program

This Section explains how we handle your information when you opt in to receive SMS text messages from SEDA Dental. If anything else in this Privacy Policy conflicts with this Section as it relates to text messaging, this Section controls.

Information we collect. When you opt in to receive text messages, we collect your mobile phone number, your consent to receive text messages (including the date, time, and method of your opt-in), and the content of the text messages you exchange with us.

How we use your information. We use this information to send you the text messages you have opted in to receive, such as appointment reminders and confirmations, scheduling and follow-up messages, two-way communication with our offices, and updates, promotions, or other relevant content based on your preferences.

Sharing your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your rights. You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. Reply HELP to any message for help. You may also contact us at 877-987-4321 or info@floridateeth.com.

Data security. We implement reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or disclosure, as described in Section 9 (Security).

Contact us. If you have questions or concerns about our text messaging privacy practices, contact us using the information in Section 13 (Contact Us).

8. Your Choices and Rights

You have choices about your information:

• Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we collected through the Site. Email us at info@floridateeth.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep information where the law requires it or where we need it to complete a request you made, detect fraud, or resolve disputes. Requests about your patient records are handled under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
• Cookies and tracking. You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google’s ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com. See our Cookie Policy for details.
• Marketing. You can opt out of marketing texts and emails as described in Sections 6 and 7.
• Do Not Track. The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

9. Security

The Site uses encryption (HTTPS/SSL) to protect information sent between your browser and our server, and we take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us right away.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us information through the Site, contact us and we will delete it. Appointments for minors should be requested by a parent or guardian.

11. Third-Party Websites

The Site links to other websites, including online scheduling, financing providers such as CareCredit, review platforms, and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please read their privacy policies before providing any information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
